Muyang President Fan Was Invited to Attend the Third China-Tanzania Investment Forum
On October 23th, the Third Tanzania Investment Forum themed of “Promote Mutually Beneficial Partnership” was held in Beijing. Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete, Chinese Foreign Ministry, president of China-Africa Chamber and the outstanding entrepreneurs from Tanzania and China attended the event. As Asia’s first even world’s second brand, Muyang’s president was invited to attend the forum.
It is understood that the forum showed the urgent desire of Tanzania to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in economic and trade fields. The two sides made the communication on the available project and signed the 6-month project with total money of 1.8 billion.
At present, China had become Tanzania's largest trading partner and second largest investor, and the bilateral trade volume reached $ 3.7 billion. China had invested more than 2.5 billion US dollars in Tanzania, creating 150 000 local jobs.
President Kikwete personally attended this forum, making the chance for dialogue betwen Chinese entrepreneurs and top leaders of Tanzania, making the confidence for Chinese entrepreneurs to invest Tanzania. Kikwete spoke highly of the establishment of 50-years diplomatic ties and made the affirmation on the closer relation between bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
China-Africa Chamber of Commerce showed that they would take full advantage of Tanzania Investment Forum, continue to strengthen cooperation with the Tanzanian government and organizations and promote mutually beneficial partnerships to play a good link between two sides cooperation.
